Allegedly derived from an ancient African word meaning ‘Wild’ or ‘Hairy Person’, the gorilla has a rich history. Some stories even suggest the first gorillas to be seen by Greek explorers were mistaken to be a tribe of particularly hairy women. The gorilla is a deeply compelling and majestic primate native to equatorial Africa, whose sheer size and power is nothing short of inspiring.

‘Gorilla One’ is first of three in the series ‘Hairy People’. Hand drawn with bright ink and watercolours onto thick watercolour paper, this fine art print is meant to commemorate the beauty and strength (and humour) of these magnificent creatures, the largest of the primates. Buy as a bundle or as a standalone print to brighten your home, and be inspired!

What you’ll get:

  • One fine art poster on matte 200gsm paper that has a natural, smooth and uncoated finish.
  • PLEASE NOTE THE PRINT INCLUDES A WHITE BORDER AROUND THE IMAGE.
