The Guiana or ‘red faced’ spider monkey is among the more unusual looking monkeys due to its characteristic small red face and tangle of long limbs. They travel in bands around the canopies of the rainforest in northern South America, often using their tail as a fifth limb to move with more agility amongst the trees.
‘Guiana Spider Monkey’ is second of the series ‘Colourful Faces’. Hand drawn with bright ink and watercolours onto thick watercolour paper, this fine art print aims to bring to life the sprawling arms and legs of this new world monkey.
